John sold his collection of toys in the late 90s to buy his first Land Rover, a 1989 Portofino Red Range Rover Classic. Four years in the sales department at the Land Rover Anaheim Hills dealer followed, then he went out on his own, breaking and building Rovers and learning their mechanical ins and outs the hard way.

That is the whole business: a Roverphile keeping Rovers honest, in Garden Grove since the move from Fullerton.
